Waldron Area Schools will provide learning experiences for our students that will ensure a high level of academic achievement as determined by local, state, and national standards. Everyone is committed to a comprehensive system of support to assure this outcome.
Waldron Area Schools houses a K-12 building at 13380 Waldron Road in Waldron.
The building known as "Waldron Area Schools" was opened in 1956, as the secondary school. There was an addition to the facility in 1974 creating a K-12 building. The 1974 facility replaced the existing elementary building in the towns of Waldron and Prattville. There are 14 rooms in the elementary building plus the library, multi-purpose gymnasium, 2 small locker rooms, and 2 office areas. The middle/high school building was designed to house approximately 250 students. It has 15 classrooms, 2 offices, and a gymnasium. The Waldron Area Schools have areas for band, choir, art, physical education and 3 computer labs.
