You may have noticed that our Hillsdale County Sheriff’s Department is present almost every day at Waldron Area Schools. This is not because of problems or issues that are going on but rather law enforcement being proactive. Each day different Deputies walk through our halls, chat with students, and even visit classrooms! It is great that our students are exposed to these individuals who put their lives on the line to keep us safe! A big thank you to Sheriff Hodshire and all of the Hillsdale County Sheriff Department Deputies!!

Due to Litchfield being closed this week because of Covid, this Wednesday's MS girls' game at Litchfield has been postponed to a possible later date.

Tomorrow is a half day of school. Dismissal is at 11:55 A.M. The M/HS schedule is 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 7th. There is no career center but there is college. Career center students should arrive by 10:00 A.M. for fifth hour, if not at the start of school.

Congratulations to our Lady Spartans! Last night they defeated Litchfield, 40-36. The girls trailed but turned it around in the second half, taking the lead with less then a minute left in the game! GO LADY SPARTANS!
There will be no boys Jr. Pro practice tomorrow due to the girls hosting the tournament. Practice will continue next Saturday, Jan. 22 at 9:00AM.
