We are back to school this Monday, January 8th! We hope break has been restful! Sports this week are:
Monday - MS Girls Basketball practice begins after school.
Tuesday - HS Girls Basketball vs Camden @ 6:30pm
Wednesday - HS Boys Basketball at Camden @ 6pm
Thursday - HS Girls Basketball @ North Adams @ 6:30pm
Friday - HS Boys Basketball vs North Adams @ 6pm
Saturday - HS Boys Basketball at Fayette (OH) @ 6pm
*ROBOTICS TEAM*
A couple of important announcements:
This Thursday, Jan 4th, there will be a team meeting from 4pm-7pm. The team will be prepping the robotics room for the season.
This Saturday, Jan 6th, is the official First Robotics Kickoff! The team is asked to come to the school from 11:30am-2:00pm to view it and have pizza!

The Yearbook Club's Pam's Pantry sale is going on still! Stock up on your favorite seasonings!
MS girls' basketball practice starts on Monday, January 8th at 3pm in the MP room until 5pm.
K-5 SPARTAN STAR AWARDS
Today in the cafeteria December SPARTAN STAR AWARDS were handed out.
Spartan Star Awards are given to students in grades K-5 that are observed within the month displaying outstanding behavior, being helpful, kind, & respectful. The month of December awards went to :

Third grade: Hunter Stuck

*TUTORING* Reminder, today is the last day of tutoring for the year. Enjoy your Christmas break.
*M/HS HOLIDAY PARTY*
Suprise M/HS Spartans! We will be having a party this Friday, 8:30 am to 9:30 am, in the MP room where ice cream will be served! Feel free to bring in treats to share with your friends! Locker cleanout will be 8:00 am to 8:30 am and study hour will be 9:30 am to 9:55 am, with exams beginning at 10:00 am.
Holiday Tree Decorating!
Our K-5 students decorated Christmas trees in the cafeteria and they did a BEAUTIFUL job! Seeing them put their ornament on the trees was such a special moment.

SPARTAN HOT COCOA DAY!!
Today the ladies in the cafeteria had a hot cocoa bar for all our students. The MS/HS were able to make their cup of cocoa as they came in off the bus. MS/HS was held from 7:30 to 8:00 in the MS/HS hallway with some extra help from Mr. Ellison, Miss Lori & Miss Regina, Thank you to them.
Our K-5 students came down to the cafeteria from 9:00-9:30 and enjoyed their hot cocoa bar AND was able to watch a Christmas movie on the new television that has recently been installed in the cafeteria. All our students loved the the hot cocoa, & our AMAZING lunch ladies loved seeing all the happiness it brought to our students.
Thank you to Miss Vicky & Miss Barb for getting it all together for our SPARTANS!

**GAME TIME UPDATE** Jr. High Boys Basketball game on Monday December 11th at Pittsford has been changed to 6:30.

Junior Spartan, Aubrey Jackson, competed at the Business Professionals of America regional competition today. She has just been recognized for placing in the top four of both human resources AND entrepreneurship! Aubrey is headed to the BPA state competition! CONGRATULATIONS, SPARTAN!
