*REMINDER* Jr. Pro Boys Basketball practice this Saturday in the high school gym from 8-9 am.
Also the Girls Jr. Pro Girls Basketball practice is Saturday from 9-10:30 am in the high school gym.
On December 7th, our lunch ladies had LUNCH WITH A HERO & invited our local Sheriffs department along with their K9 officers. The officers held a demonstration before lunch showing the students the ability & use of the K9 dogs. The students learned that our Law enforcement are here to help & protect everyone. The students were able to ask questions & interact with the officers & their K9 dogs.
A special THANK YOU to the officers that took the time to visit our school & spend time with our students, Deputy Herring & K9 Drako, Deputy Lonk & K9 Mayson & our very own WALDRON GRADUATE DEPUTY SHELBY FELLABAUM!!
**REMINDER** Today is lunch with a hero. Hillsdale County Sherriff's office sent a few canine officers to share information about the canine unit and have lunch with them.

We have noticed an error on the lunch menu for the 19th & 20th of December.
The 19th will be cheese burrito, the 20th will be our Christmas dinner, the 21st
will be COOKS CHOICE the 22nd will be PB&J uncrustable/cheese-stick sack lunch and then its' onto Christmas break. We in the kitchen hope everyone has a safe & happy & healthy Christmas & New Year.

**ELEMENTARY CHRISTMAS PROGRAM UPDATE** Practice today 3-5pm. NO practice Wednesday. The Program is Thursday, Dec. 7. Students are meeting in the Media Center at 6:10 sharp. Refreshments after the program.
GIRLS JR PRO PRACTICE
Practice tomorrow morning (12/2) from 9am-10:30am. In the High School gym. Any 3rd-5th grade girls are welcome to play.
*** WAS Spartans*** SMILES ON WHEELS*** Just a reminder that smiles on wheels will be back on Monday. If you would still like to sign your child up to be seen, there are forms to fill out in the office.
We have some exciting things going on in our cafeteria. Starting today , and from this month forward, the ladies in the kitchen will be watching our students to display qualities of outstanding behavior, helpfulness, and RESPECTFULNESS . At the end of every month one student from each class will be selected to receive a certificate of recognition along with a small token of appreciation for going above & beyond to be a great leader!

*HACC CLOSED*
Due to a gas leak at the Hillsdale Area Career, all HACC students are currently being returned to the district. We appreciate the urgency of our HACC partners to ensure our Spartans were safe and secure. Our HACC Spartans will be monitored in our gym. Those with missing assignments will be working on those. Please contact Mr. Ellison or Jenn with any further questions or concerns.

The Elementary Christmas Program after school rehearsal for Monday, November 27th from 3pm - 5pm is cancelled. We will see you on Wednesday, November 29th!
*FIELD TRIP*
Last week, a permission slip went home with the World History students to attend a Human Trafficking Awareness Presentation on December 6th in the evening. This is also open for any 10th-12th grade Spartan who is interested. WH students, please get your slip in. Other intersted students can see Mr. Hamilton or Jenn for a permission slip.
*SPARTAN FA-LA-LA*
It's not too late to turn in your student's Christmas Music Program slips! Ms. April will be ready for extra students for the Monday after school rehearsal for anyone that didn't get their slip until later. Don't miss out!

Our Life Skills and Waldron Peer 2 Peer program are asking our community for donations of the following items. These donations will help our special needs Spartans learn basic living skills:
