Junior Spartan, Troy Shamplo, competed at the US Clay National Trap Championship today and scored a 99 out of 100! Out of 1,733 high school shooters from across the country, Troy placed 19th! He moves on tomorrow to shoot alongside the other 399 top shooters! Good luck, Spartan!

*SAFETY FAIR* The Great Start Collaborative of Hillsdale County hosted their 2nd Annual Free Family Safety Fair. Our very own, Ms. Lee cleaned her bus shiny yellow, packed popsicles on ice, grabbed some coloring booklets and headed to the fairgrounds to greet kids! Over 100 kids checked out the big bus! Thank you Great Start for having us be a part of this event!

Our Trap Spartans had a FANTASTIC shoot at the MI Clay Trap State High School Championship Tournament! Waldron placed FOURTH overall for Junior Varsity level and FOURTH for Novice level! Emersyn Leininger took THIRD overall for Novice females! Isaac Fether shot a 25 out of 25 and a 94 out of 100, being our top shooter! We have awards coming to the trophy case! On Proposed 2024-2025 Budget
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that on June 19, 2024 at 7:30 p.m., at Waldron Area Schools, Media Center, Michigan, the Board of Education of Waldron Area Schools, Hillsdale and Lenawee Counties, Michigan will hold a public hearing to consider the District’s proposed 2024-2025 budget.
The Board may not adopt its proposed 2024-2025 budget until after the public hearing. A copy of the proposed 2024-2025 Waldron Area Schools budget, including the proposed property tax millage rate, is available for public inspection during normal business hours at the Business Office, 13380 Waldron Rd., Waldron, Michigan.
This Budget Hearing includes the: General Fund, Cafeteria Fund, Bond Debt Fund, Sinking Fund and Trust and Agency Fund.
The property tax millage rate proposed to be levied to support the proposed budget will be a subject of this hearing.
This notice is given by order of the Board of Education of Waldron Area Schools.
